Add a blower, or buy a cobra, either of those combos will kill a 05+

without even reading any post i knew everyone was gonna say get an 03-04 cobra. Not saying my answer is different or anything but get a cobra. all in all id rather have a new gt then a new edge gt since they are faster and with the right exterior mods they look awesome. or get a blower and be done with it

Just keep your current car and mod the pi** out of it[8D] Nothing like having no car payment.

I'd say wait it out and hope that Ford comes out with something affordable that's worth buying in the next few years. Don't get me wrong, the 05+ GT's are NICE cars! But hopefully there will be something better out better in a few years. If anything, get a Cobra. But nowadays there are a lot of Heads/Cam/Sprayed LS1's running around that will give even a Cobra a run for it's money.

lol dude this decision is completely up to you. Everyone has their own opinion but yours is really the only one that counts. On the one hand you have a paid-off car that you can put money into making faster. On the other hand if you're like me and you like the looks of the 05+ then what good is a fast car that you don't like to look at? Obviously you don't think your current car is ugly but if you like the newer style better and can afford it, why not?

I guess if it were me and I could afford it I would go with an 07. The fact is I can't so I'll stick with my 99

I realize I will probably be tarred, feathered, and shot for saying this but here goes. If you want the classic look wait a couple years for the '09 Camaro. I have a stang now and love it, but I also love the looks of the new Camaro. Plus it will have the 400 hp LS2 (which if I understood the host of Musclecar correctly, it was underrated, actually 440 hp) That is naturally aspirated that can be blown later to who-knows-what. I'm sorry but that is my $0.02.
