How is it worthless?

The guy just said it wasn't everything he thought it'd be.....yes he has an automatic.

4.10's would have been the gear to make his butt pucker. Oh well, live & learn. Better than stock anyway..

i didnt say his mod was worthless, i was quoting the guy before me. seriously whats the point of sayin "you should have gone 4.10s." he didnt , the original poster said he was happy. its easy to say "congrats on the mod enjoy it"

Agreed. Way to advise the guy to get 4.10s AFTER he says he just installed 3.73s.

Great looking car man. Glad you are pleased with your new mod.

Nice mod, I have an auto too, but I went with the 4.10's. I wasn't overly impressed with the difference in my gear swap either.Don't get me wrong, itwas a nice difference forthe money, but I thought the gear swap would have been more drastic. Both have their ups and downs, but any lower gear change will compliment any future mods that you get done as well.
I have an 03 Auto, bone stock, and I was thinking of going with 3.73s because I do a LOT of highway driving.
That was until I drove an Auto with 4.10's and to be honest, unless you are interested in launching the car off the
line all day long (ie:racing), it's just not worth it *overall*.

Yes there was a little more kick in the pants off the line, but nothing major and considering the highway vs around town and so forth driving that I do and the racing that I don't plan on doing, IMHO it seems like a waste to me and seeing that
the 4.10's gave me that impression, the 3.73 with an Auto would only be less notcieable.

If I decide to mod the car, I'll put the money toward a blower instead.

that seems to be the only way to go if you realy want to notice a difference I sick of saving money for all these bolt on stuff that dosnt do much at all. The only other thing for me is blower or nitrous. I mainly got the exhaust for the sound.

People need too keep in mind that 4.10s on a 3650 is about the same as 3.73 on a t45. Dont just think 4.10s for auto and 3.73 for manual. Take into acount the final gearing or the trans, too.
