correct me if i'm wrong
I've read a lot of gear threads in my short time on this board. I think I have an understanding. Let me know if I'm wrong:
Stock Gears 4th gear rpm = 4.10 5th gear rpm
Does that make sense? and is it correct?

I've never heard that, but this should help you out if you're looking for rpm's and gears...

Well people keep saying don't get 4.10's if you do a lot of highway driving. Is that because the RPMs in 5th gear will be higher with 4.10's almost like being in 4th gear?

4.10s
5th gear 3k RPM my speedo reads 75ish
5th gear 4.8k rpm speedo reads 120ish
id say i lost about 15 mpg since i did the switch, most my driving is highway BUT when i go to the race track, need to downshift or go from a stop i remember how happy 4.10s make me

I would be happy with 15mpg.. I think I get around 12 if I am lucky[] I need a tune
If you do a lot of HWY driving I personally would not go with 4.10's.. go with like 373's or something. IMHO
It is kind of annoying being in 5th gear cruzing around town at 40 too.. LOL
