I don't get why you need such a small pulley to make that much boost. A vortech will make 8lbs of boost with a 3.6 pulley. Why the hell are you only making 6lbs with a 3.25? Is a paxton really that crappy?
Hopefully somebody can chime in, because Vortech/Paxton are pretty much the same thing. They're headquartersare 20 miles from me, and a mechanic told me that they share the same building lol..

the 1000 is not equivliant to the v2's... quality wise its fine - but it doesnt make the same power. But why you want more power between 5500-5800... i know what your trying to say but that doesnt make a whole lot os sense the way you put it. Also i dont see how your peggin the maf, but buy the mafia

As far as power diff., I'm not so sure on that one! But I do know that just because vortech makes more power with a lerger pulley doesn't mean that the inner gear ratio in smaller than paxton to begin with which would give reason for that diff. These guys don't want everyone interchanging parts ya know! The inner gears are like diff tranny's, the end result can be diff with the same products! Not to sure on the whole ownership either, but lets not forget that the pulley you want... I did see a pulley on ebay for $175

Well it doesn't make sense why paxton would make it so that the outer pulley so small. You will be running into serious belt slip only making 8-10psi. I bet if you were able to run your car to redline you would make more boost with your current set up. I would work on trying to get the car to redline before I would pulley down.

I didn't mean crappy like it doesn't run right. Just crappy that you need such a small pulley for that much boost.
