Default X-Pipe install. NEED HELP PLEASE...

ok, so i got my car all jacked up about a foot in the air. im putting on a new o/r x. i have a bbk catted h on there now, so the bolts came off really easy. the only problem was the passenger side bolts. their not rusted or anything, they are just soooo hard to get to. how did you guys get to them? what tools did you use? i tried for a good half hour just to get the socket to match up to the bolt and its just soo tight in there i couldnt even untighten it. like i said, its not rusted on there or anything, i jut cant get to the bolt. can i get some pointers? thanks!

It's really a straight shot if you get it at the right angle. You can always get a swivel and that will make it easier.

Yep. A swivel and extension will get you there.

i used a 3/8 with a swivel and an extension it just would match up. maybe it would be easier on a lift? because i was literally laying under the car.

15mm deep socket (this isa must), 18-24" worth of extensions and the swivel joint. Should be able to easily get at the nuts.Be creative in the way you position yourself under the car. Youll be surprised at how accessable those nuts can be.

Get the car as high off the ground as your stands will allow and get a good light under there so you can really see what you're doing.
