Default help me pick new stang

looking at two cars right now.... and itching to pick one up soon haha

2003 Black GT with just under 40k for $14,500 and other than tinted windows its all stock (I checked it out thoroughly). It has all charcol on charcol black leather interior and a clean title.

or 2004 Red GT with 73k miles, cloth seats, flowmaster exhaust, bbk plenum, unknown throttle body, some sorta CAI, lowering kit of somekind, and bbk strut tower brace for $11,000. Car had front bumper replaced from a car backing into it in a parking lot.....but looks spotless....

Pros: 03 - i'm leaning towards the black stang cuz its lower miles and all stock.....which i'm hoping means it wasnt beat on as much....interior is much nicer and I think its a better platform

Cons: 03 - $3500 more expensive haha

pros 04 - $3500 cheaper....and since i have steeda suspension stuff and Mac exhaust stuff sitting in my room waiting to go on, i might be able to sell the flowmaster and bbk stuff to make some more buck back...plus the red is kinda sexy....I've already had a black stang....

cons 04 - red cars are cop magnets, higher miles, some repairs, and with performance mods, you know it was beat on more than a stock car.....

what do you guys think?

Black looks better. 33k less miles is a good difference. In that range i'd look into some 99/01 Cobras though

Nither. You will regret cloth seats sooo bad. I honestly would never buy a wrecked car.
For the black one they want way to much. So enless you can talk the black one down i would walk away.

I'm a big hater on Red cars unless they have an exotic badge like Ferrari or Lamborghini! Red should be banned from all cars and truck and only allows on hot sports cars! It's a tacky looking color..imo

What?? I bought cloth on purpose; i hate leather seats, atleast the ones that come in our GT's. They look like **** after they have been used for a while too.

Eh ya i guess its personal preferance. I just know that most are very disapointed with it. And come on bro keep up with the leather and it will look good forever! I have a buddy with a 95 cobra and the interior looks brand new.

adam03 - the 03 black stang is leather interior

and price-wise, in CT most stangs i've looked at 99-04s have similar or more miles for a higher price.

I stopped to look at a mach 1 with 50kmiles.....selling for 23,000...dont even mention cobras lol

i'm kinda leanin towards the black one though because even with 40k....this thing is MINT....especially compared to others ive seen. I was out of work for 3 weeks after my accident and spent a lot of time online and out with my buddy looking....unless i get a V6, i'm not gonna find much under 100k miles for $10k... ive looked on autotrader, cars.com, backpage etc etc.....

if you can talk the guy down on the red stang then I say go for that, if not look for a mach1, you can get a decent mileage mach for about 3-4k more than that black gt.
With an accident I would offer the guy 10k and see if they bite, if they do then you make the call, is the cost benefit ratio to your liking? if not then move on. Same with the black GT, if you really want a 2v then see if you can talk the guy down.
