You should have put a trickle charger on the battery....
IMO, you shouldn't let batteries sit around for any extended length of time without a trickle charger.

like I said, this winter I got really unorganizned, and between my Grand Marquis ****ting out on me, not having a car, need a car, snow coming, snow not coming, and snow finially coming just after I got the Saturd... i had no time to put the car away all clean on a fresh oil change and ****....
usually the battery is pulled and put into our warmer building where it rests with my dads battery to his '72 while both of our cars slumber deeply within their "car bags' for 5-6 months...
this year, my cars only getting 4 months of uncovered rest.

It happens.
My car is sitting in my garage covered in dust & the battery is connected. Atleast I got the dry-gas in. Oil change is coming up next week once it gets back into the 40's outside & even though the garage is heated, the concrete is soeffincold.

Like it's been said a billion times, just a dead battery. Mine was sitting in the cold (10-20 degrees) for the past four days or so. Went to start it up today (20 degrees ish) and it barely cranked the first attempt, and clicked a couple of times so I stopped... gave it a second because it was really close... and just clicked. Put a charger on it for about 2 minutes, it started up and now is fine... Stock battery

I figured that's what it was at first, but I wasn't sure because ANY other time I've had a dead battery with another vehicle, it won't even click. In this case there must have been just enough juice to try and turn over, but the car said no. Hence the clicking,,, thats all it was, me worrying about clicking and starter problems.
I'm happy now though
