I wont miss the sound of the mustang. I'm not going to sale it. I have a 65' w/ a 289HiPo, a 00' GT covt. and the 02' GT that is in my sig. If I get the Vette, the gt covt. will be going bye bye. It's stock with just rims. Ive had it just 4 months and don't like it.

I really think you should consider a 03/04 cobra 
Put it this way, a guy I know has a 03 with a pulley, exhaust, tune, ported blower, and a few other little mods. 520 WHP.
He had a big (for this area) race with a H/C/exhaust c5 the other day... it wasn't pretty for the C5.
Boost from the factory FTW!

the z06 is an awesome car 405bhp of n/a power in a 3000lb body.. NOTHING to sneeze at and nothing to be embarresed at. I had the option of one too, and i just wanted a backseat...
If you're looking at something like that - why not look at a 03/04 Cobra? Like Dan, said you can put 2-3k in the car and run 500+rwhp safely and with reliable as long as you have yourself a good tune and the cooling mods.

I would get the vette if you want it, but as i have had experience with many of my friends....vettes are high matinence if you know what i mean, and Im not ready to drive a 2 seater, i just dont like them.
