I got my mustang running in top shape, tune up all that good stuff. Im looking into getting nitrous. Can someone tell me what a safe shot the 4.6 can handle? Dry shot with a WOT switch sounds good right? thanks

A 100 shot is safe. You could probably bump it a bit higher, but it's not a good idea.

add in a window switch and you'll be in good shape. 100 shot will be a nice and quick way to shave 1sec+ off your 1320 time.

idk about a 100 dry shot. sounds like too much without changing fuel pressureor something.

Go with a wet shot and get some NGK tr6's. Window Switch and WOT switch are nice but they are not a must.

You will most definitely want a bottle warmer.

i got some questions im new to nitrous i have a nx 100 wet shot on my 4.6 but when i open the bottle the pressure goes to about 700psi and wont go up afterwords.
and when im done using the nitrous after a few hours the pressure guage is almost all the way down could i have a leak? or is all this normal?

Sounds like a bottle warmer would be a nice addition to your setup

well i have a bottle warmer i was just askin if that was normal. also is it harder to build pressure when u get less in the bottle? u got aim if so can u im me im greddyn0s thats a zero

100 shot is fine. I picked up 93 hp at the tires w/ my 100 shot. Make sure you get a tune and one step colder plugs. I got the NGKs and was fine. I also did a wet shot but both have their pluses and minuses. 100 shot is the safe limit. You can go higher but after that, you are playing w/ fire, esp. w/ a dry shot. You will have to upgrade your injectors then too. Dont forget a fuel pump too.

No its not normal.. inless you are spraying a really big shot and use it alot. and yes the lower the nitrous the longer it will take to get higher pressure. I would check for leaks and turn it off when your not using it.
