Which Engine...?

I was just thinking, or more like daydreaming, of what kind of major mod I would do to my current ride if I had the spare $$$. By forging the bottom end andslappin' a S/C on the current 2V I know I would have quite a bit of get up an go. But on the other hand it would almost seem simpler to drop in a factory blown 4V between the fenderwells and call it a day. At this point I'm not even going to bring up the rest of the drivetrain or suspension since it's a given thateverything would have to be beefed to handle either of these.

What 'ya all think?

While I do not have personal experience in this subject, from what I had heard you cannot simply drop a4v into a GT. It takes quite a bit of fabrication. In the end, it will probably cost as much to drop a Termi engine in as forging and SCing your 2v takes, and you would have less power.

it will cost more to do a 4v... and it wont be as strong. (of course this varies on the prices you pay) but IMO your better off for the money builing the 2v. Esp if you find a local builder to do the work at a reasonable price

what are u talkin about, the 4v teskid or iron cobra block can handle, no exaggeration, 3 times what the stock 2v block can. the cobra block if u got the dough is the way to go.

yet imagine how expensive it is to drop a cheby motor in a ford.... all the fabricating and wiring... and trying to fit everything.. i would just rather stick with the 2v with it being forged and having over 15psi of boost.... that would make quite a quick ride... much much faster than a full bolt on or stock LS1/2...
