Default How big of a difference... X and H

Ok i know blah blah blah X = loud H = deep.... But i have NEVER heard an H in person. I have weld in 40 flows (will soon have borla stingers) and a BBK o/r X pipe... I have always been curious about an H pipe... Well i have a buddy that says he wants to buy my x pipe off me... So i was wondering how truly big is the differince in sound between the X and H? Would sell him the X and buying an H even be worth the hassle?

Dude I wanna know this exact same thing. I have the Stingers with a catted X now, and the only time I've heard an H with them is in that soundclip thread.

Pft. Im sure that hardley compares to an o/r one. Will it be THAT much deeper? Will it be quieter?

[:@][:@]I know this. But what im asking is .... Is the difference between the two like night and day? How much quieter is the H pipe than the X? Also besides the SLP midpipe are there any other midpipes that i can change to work with headers?

the difference isnt earth shattering IMO, they both sound great....you would not be disappointed with eiether one....as far as i know, the SLP X pipe is the only one you can get that is modular and can be used with headers..........i just got rid of my SLP X and picked up a pair of MAC ceramic coated Lt's and catted MAC H pipe...cost me about 600 bucks.....if money allows, buy LT's and a shorty midpipe together, less pain in the long term
