Default New to Mustang world 4.6L

Hi,

I am very new to the Mustang world. Matter of fact I never thought I would ever own one..hehe.. I foundthe one (that is my signature) and it was love atfirst drive. It is a 4.6L and even some of my buddies here in Pa who own Chevy's like the looks of it. They'll never admit it in public though. It has 260hp @ 5600rpm.She sounds great to me and by the way she pulls me back, it feels like it got more than 260hp. But I don't see any MODS on it,in it, or under it.Then againI am really not Mustang Savy. She'sslow off the line which lets me know not to race head to head. At 10, 20, or 25mph I can throw her in 1st (automatic o/d) that is when she pulls me back, and she even chirps second gear at the right RPM and she'll go kind of sideways / then straightens out | ...I LOVE IT. I've basically signed up to every Mustang forum out there, and posted pics too. I found this web-site through Modified Mustangs Magazine (which my wife picked up for me).

I have a favor to ask, too all of the owners, onthis forum, of4.6L supercharged mustangs from 1999 to 2004

Being this (my car) is 4.6L and a GT. Does anyone here have a picture of a Supercharger on the new edge years (I believe it to be 1999 to 2004) Mustang GT 4.6L? Please, no 2005 and above, only because I hear that they are different.Could you also please PM me a picture of it? I want to know what it looks like under the hood. I definitely want to invest in one, and all my buddies say I should.

Thank you very much

p.s. If you don't want to PM me then post a pic here pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaseeee..haha thanks

p.s. Iattached a couple of more pics.

Your buddies are correct, it is a good idea to invest in one. The centri looks much different than the roots blower.

Fixed for you 99-04 are reffered to as new edge mustangs. 98 the 94-98 bodystyle often referred to as sn95.

99-04 arnt really forth gens. the 79-04 use the same platform, and 79-93 are called fox bodies, 94-98 are sn95s, and 99-04's are new edges. The differents between a centri and a roots blower is the roots blower has two oggers that spine, while the centri has a turbine i believe.

Every single one of you who posted pics, corrected me, given me answers...are AWESOME!!! I also corrected my years in the post. Thank you.

Now which is better theCentrifugal type charger or Twin Screw type charger if I am going to keep everything stock (for now, cause $$$ is tight)? And a supercharger is expensive.

As for gears...I have an automatic and on a Mustang forum, somewhere ( I 4get),this person saidthe gear ratiomight behigher (he did say he isn't sure) in an automatic than stick. By all means correct me if I am wrong. I might have 355's and not 327's. I could be wrong all together (I probably am). There isn't a Chilton or Haynes on this year.
I really appreciate all the help!!!
