Default Looking to buy 4.10s

Im thinking this is the best decision... Noone has really mentioned their opinion with 4.10 against 3.73 on a 99 auto daily driver.... where is a good place to buy gears for cheap? how hard is the install? Im pretty experienced under a hood i have done apx 8 engine swaps but never worked on gears.

Call me ignorant but i have always done all my work myself and i feel its more rewarding to have done all the work on your car and not paid to have stuff installed.

I would agree with you on thatEXCEPT when it comes togears. Gears should be installed by someone who knows what they are doing and has been trained. If the gears are installed wrong you can lock up your rearend and send you into a wall, another car, over a cliff, etc. They never fail when you are stopped or going 40mph, they always failwhen you are pushing the car.It isn't as easy as pulling out the gears and re-installing them.I do all of my own work, but I had my gears installed. I wouldn't risk it.

I have 4.10's and am very happy. An auto benefits greatly with 4.10's. The difference in RPMs between 3.73's and 4.10'sisn't that great, but the difference in acceleration between the two is. I suggest going with 4.10's.
