Default KING COBRA CLUTCH

the most power I will ever get my car to is around 400 rwhp so is the king cobra clutch a good clutch for my 01 GT with the T45 tans or is there a better clutch for the $$$

i have a centerforce dual friction but if i where you id spend the extra $60 and get spec 2

I have the King Cobra and love it. For the money, I don't think you can beat it.

I had a king cobra with my t45; i liked it a lot until I glazed it over at the track. I think a lot of it had to do with the pilot bearing though. Make sure you buy one they dont come with the king cobra kit. I had a lot of passes on the KC, and the clutch was still in decent shape when i took it out so i think it was just the pilot bearing and the tranny. I have a spec 2 with the new 3650. I think the KC drives better for DD off the line than the spec; havent had the spec at the track yet though.

WOW!!! Can't you just get a kevlar one or non roller so that doesn't happen? Kevlar is twice as much but will not wear out nor wear the shaft!
