Default 13" All around! -Pics

Well finally after 3 months of waiting got my 13" rear brake kit from Baer. The install went pretty smoothly- except for slicing open my hand getting the ebrake cable off. And now i'm having some pad rubbing so Im going to have to go back and align the calipers + shim them the proper distance from the brakets [:'(]...so in the end this has been a PITA install. Here's some pics.

Before:

After:

Old rotor vs new:

Now I just need to get them working right!

Looks sweet how much did it set you back. I am thinking of upgrading my brakes when I replace my rotors.

Once you get em working properly, post some 60-0 numbers.

looks killer, but it's only going to help you with looks. maybe heat transfer becuase they're cross drilled and slotted, but the actual pad gripping on the rotor and the actual surface of the rotor is the same as a stock rotor. ( unless you get new calipers and a bigger friction surface it won't do anything but looks.

Not trying to hate just letting you know unless you already knew then more power to you. looks sweet either which way

Yeah I know the braking improvement was minimal- the only thing that would help with braking out of this kit is the larger rotor diameter, which would be covering more distance at the same revolutions per minute 2" further out then the stocker would- that makes more rotor to pad area over the same amount of time = very slightly improved contact and braking...but your right this was a primarily cosmetic upgrade since I had the 13"s in the front and was tired of the tinys in the back.

As far as calipers... I have to paint the rears now to match lol.

The total price came to 260.00 to my door.....from Hawaii lol. Originally I placed the order with speedconcepts.net- but they, like everyone else I could find are STILL on a unfilled backorder from baer for this kit- and there is no date for delivery yet from Baer. Speedconcepts refunded my money AND found hawaii racing which is about the only place with these left in stock. Shipping only took about 6 business days so it all worked out fine.
