um dont get an aluminum block. Aluminum is not near as strong and twin turbos are gonna give you a LOT of hp if you want it, and trust me, u'll want it. It will end in disaster. Plus with all that hp u will not be worried about saving a few pounds, the car is pretty light. Make sure before you buy parts you let whoever you are buying them from know what you are doing. Thats a lot of power, don't destroy your car with it.
P.S. Have you thought about bigger displacement like a 347 or 351? if money isn't an issue why don't you twin turbo one of them. And everything is cheaper for them too. O, and MUCH better head flo meaning even more power.

just get the cobra crate engine, switch out the POS eaton for a helion TT set up or something and your basically there...
make sure you have tranny/clutch that can take it like a viper spec t56 or tko600, buillt rear end, suspension and good tires... kinda pointless for all that power and not get it to the ground

uhh if you're doing a build up from scratch then you should deffinetly get the aluminum block, out of all the engine blocks around it can hold more power than alot of them. if you're getting a shortblock i don't know which one to get. the aluminum block i speak of is the ever so strong teksid block.
