i'd go 01 Cobra over 99...just to be sure it has 320 hp lol...see told you to look into the 04s though...sounds like it will all be ok in the end...hopefully after court you will have mod money

i was gunna say...how the hell did it come to over 10k judging by the pics. Then you said frame damage and it all made sense.

I'm an insurance adjuster in TX. Do you have uninsured underinsured coverage? The reason I ask is because if the person had minium limits. California's minimum limits are 15/30/5. That means if he was carrying min limits, his insurance would only pay $5K in property damage per accident. You had much more damage than that. Also if there were injuries his policy would only pay for $15K in bodily injury for one person $30K max for multiple people.

So a lawsuit would get you the max from the policy, but the rest would just be a judgement against the person. Good luck actually getting that money.

If you have uninsured/underinsured you might be able to file under that. That also means that you might have to sue your own insurance tho. Otherwise, if he was carrying min limits you will not be getting enough from his insurance to cover your damages.

It's amazing to me that California only requires you carry $5K property damage liability. Who drives a $5K car anymore.

My dad was in an accident when someone pulled out in front of him wtih is detective car and he got 8 grand in court because he complained of neck pain and has been going to a chiropractor<--- teach me how to spell that LOL. Even though he always goes to the chiropractor, even before the accident.
