what gears and where to buy for stock 03 gt?
most people seem to think the 4.10s are most popular. i dont plan on doing any other major mods. this will be my first. so wheres the best place to buy em? and should any decent reputable mechanic install these or do you need some badass motor head? im trying to get this all done at a fair price, but done right. thanks forall the help guys. p.s which gears do i have nowsice its stock.

you have 3.27's I would def go 4.10's you will be very happy...if you have a reputable person/shop do them you should be fine...check out any of our sponsors for some great deals....americanmuscle, haneysports etc also make sure you get the masterrebuild kit, carrier bearings shims etc.....this will be by far the biggest and noticeable bang for your buck...Dan

is the car manual or stick? is it driven around town, or does it see a lot of highway use, these are all questions you need to ask yourself when choosing gears, high gears on the high way will really cut back on mpg, especially if you have an automatic, my personal opinion for a gear is the 3:73

its a manualand i do 95% in town driving. some say ford racing gears are much more quiet and better built. what do you guys think? am i o.k with some of the other off brand that are cheaper? and are the quality of those brands different as well? if im gonna spend the money, i want good parts.

no helical cut gears will whine if installed correctly
