Are the mach stereos that come in the 1999 stangs amplified? Im hoping not for an easy deck install....anyone know????

If its like the 98's there is a seperate amp.. i recently did my install and i was informed by besy buy and circuit city that it was going to sound like crap if i don't rewire the whole system but i got the ford wiring harness from them and it sounds great. so dont believe the hype!!!

ill keep my fingers crossed! I bought the harness and everything and im installing when i pick up my car tomorrow in arizona and i wanted to make sure i would have a radio for my drive home once i get it! Thanks dood!!
