hey i was wondering what specific torque should the bolts from the u-joint should go since i heard a click a cuople of days ago and yesterday i lift my mustang from the rear end and they were loose so i just retightend them .... i was wondering if you guys know why does this happen ? thanks.....

70-95 ft lbs. I ripped my U-joints out at the track last week, haha it sucked, and I really don't know how it happened, the pinion yoke is bent so I had to order a new one, but I think that happened before the track, just not sure how...

me eighter it just started out of nowhere when i would take off a stop sign it would make a weird noise that sounded like if it was coming from my tranny but it was the u-joint screws that were loose...lol i got some thread lock make sure they dont come loose again...thanks....good luck on your's

probly to much torque if your car aint stcok anymore, though i think it's caused by the brakestand.....lol IMO
