Ah how sweet! Save the makeup for offline . Jk... but anyways about shifting an auto.....IT DOES MAKE A HUGE DIFFERINCE..... My buddies SS camaro runs AT LEAST .5 seconds slower when he leaves it in drive. Thats worth shifting in my opinion...

Yes leave it in drive with TC off and overdrive off. But if it makes you feel better shift it.

First of all sorry for jackin this thread OP! ..I think ill try it both ways and just compare! My last question... What do i launch at? Its pointless to heat my tires up before isnt it?

If you have street tires do not do a burn out you will just make them slippery. If you have to roll threw the water box to get to the staging lane the spin them a bit to dry them off. Launch at around 1800 rpms and ease into it quickly if you know what I mean. Don't stomp on it.
