So lets say you have an automatic but no tuner to adjust the shift points.....is it still better to leave it in drive or do the manual shift?

If you have street tires do not do a burn out you will just make them slippery. If you have to roll threw the water box to get to the staging lane the spin them a bit to dry them off. Launch at around 1800 rpms and ease into it quickly if you know what I mean. Don't stomp on it.
So how many seconds after i launch should i actually be full throttle? Hm i hope i dont act a fool lol.

It only takes a second to be at WOT. The only time you look like a fool at the track is if you mess up stageing.

Just leave it in drive the computer will do the rest
