arnt you the one who said you could take me and you ran a 12.4?
I said doing the turbo setup didn't make since... and I think you proved that with the popped motor

The car should be good for identical times (at least) that you ran (11.9x/11.8x) with a better tire/launch. I only really got 2 good runs in, and they were literally the first two runs that I/the car have ever been down the track. I should really have been going 1.8s on the nittos, but the traction was just not there (the track) after my first two runs.

The first two I was just wanting to get a soild clean run in, with no hard launch. I just took the RPM up to 2000, and released the clutch while feathering the pedal till it the clutch was all the way out, and the pinned it. I am sure a 3000~ RPM launch would have resulted in a 1.8~ and a much better time.

Very nice.

Every video you post, you miss gears & now you miss gears at the track? What is the deal man?
Not every video... just the last two lol. I just am having the nasty habit of pulling the shifter back wrong, I am gonna try real hard not to do that again. You don't feel to great when you see 7500 RPM on the tach

Those nittos are blah at the track... if your spinning in second get some stickier tires, if your only gonna be launching at 2500~ your rear end definatlyshould hold up.

I am scared to break that 8.8 2+ hours from the track though. I thought of trying some MTs or BFGs but with the weak as rearend I don't want to end up with a huge tow bill to get it back to the house.

I have quite a different outlook on things like this. I'm buying some Prostar big and littles, with 26x10.50 MT ET DRAGS.

I'm going to the track, gonna launch the @#$% out of it. If I break something in the rear, it will just force me to get a built rear, or else I cant drive it. I will continue to break things over time, replacing the weak link each time. And pretty soon, I'll have a badass drivetrain! The stock clutch and a 100k mile T-45 are gonna LOVE IT.
