Short vid of me at track last nite

Here is a tiny vid of me at the track last night. First time I've ran my some what freshly blown car with any kind of sticky tires (MT ET streets). Still on stock clutch and rear (3.27's)so I didn't want to abuse it too much. Launched at about 3500rpm and bogged a bit. 1/8th mile 8.32 @ 86 mph w/ a 1.94 short time. She definately has a lot more in her ( I can feel it). My next track day will be on Weld ProStars and a spec3 clutch so I'll launch a little better. Not a long vid but cool none the less (good exhaust clip).

Cool vid man, I have been running the crappiest times. My best is a freaking 8.5
How long do you heat your tires up?

Also, what suspension mods do you have?

RE: Short vid of me at track last nite

I did a fairly long burnout the first run (not run in video) because the tires haven't been run on in a while. The burnout in the vidwas for 4 seconds or so. I just have the stock suspension right now. I am planning a setup similar to 2000gt4.6. Lakewood adjustables, LCA's, UCA's, etc. I am also planning on a Ford truck 31 spline diff. and moser 31 spline axles. All of my buddies that have Cobras and FI GT's seem to think that mid to high 7's aren't out of question with a few more mods and a little more practice. Haven't raced since last August so I'm pretty rusty.
