Default Sumitomo HTR Z $66

*since the wheels and tires section is so worthless*

Alright, I will be needing 4 new tires come mid spring.
I'm looking for THE CHEAPEST 245/45/17's I can find and currently, Tire Racks 66 a piece for the Sumitomo HTR Z is the best deal I have found.

1. Are they cheaper anywhere else
2. Do MF members get a discount code on their webiste?

Just so that everyone knows, I will be going from a 275 width Mickey Thompson to a 245 witdth set of rocks in back. Who thinks my traction might be a bit worse off.

You could see if www.discounttiredirect.com has them. I just bought tires from there two weeks ago and they were a couple of dollars cheaper per tire than Tire Rack and they also had free shipping which Tire Rack does not. I had no issues with them and they shipped fast. I'm also positive that niether place has a discount code for MF members. Hope that helps.

TehZack told me that discount tire price matches. So you can go in to their shop and have them match Tire Racks price(if lower) and save the money on shipping+mounting.

Going from MTs to ****motos is going to be a big difference. I hope you'll have a spare set of rear wheels for the track[&:]

Nope... I'm gonna be at least waiting until May 17th *our meet in Milan to switch them out* then I'll have 2 nice sticky MT's sitting in our building waiting for me to either shed the 'tight wallet blues' or run into some very cheap 17x8 rims....whichever happens first

As for price matching, I checked and I don't believe that dicount tire carries Sumitomos.. unless they'll find them AND still price match it looks like i'll be going tire rack.

You are lucky. My tires are 195.00 each. Tirerack is where I got mine from.
