With 10K for mods the cobra would be one bad ****.

So far as dropping the engine in, there isn't any reason to buy the car to do so. 7K is alot to pay for a 4v and transmission

75K miles isn't bad on a car that's ten years old. But personally, I'd keep the Bullitt. IMO, it looks waaaay better and you probably have less miles on it than 75K. It's also a rare car. You can get 450 HP out of it, but the internals would probably go. And the Cobra isn't forged so at 450HP it's internals would most likely go out on you also. I think you'd be happier if you kept your Bullitt.

Bro just pick your favorite car....Between the bullit, vette, or the cobra take your pick. Whichever you choose you can acheive the 450hp goal. It wouldnt be worth just taking the one with the most power and modding it if in the end your like o shi* i miss my other car!

Look I alredy told you about saying sell and Bullit in the same sentence . No the Bullit will be worth way more than any cobra will ever be. It was a limited production . And besides the bullit has the aluminum intake so you're already past step one . Sell the vette . But keep the bullit please . Look if you want to go faster get a Nitrous kit for $550 and If you can't beat 'em spray 'em .

It also depends on how well did thisperson took care of it.

Bring a mechanic with you to look it all over maybe you can talk him down on the price. Look it ALL over from bottom to top.

Check the fluids! Make sure the engine oil has NO water in it, tranny fluid has no metals in it or check to make sure it isn't burnt looking, make sure the frame isn't bent, etc...Your manual has a service check book in it. Bring it with you and do your own 51 point inspection

DO a CARFAX report on it also Kelly's Blue Book. . You don't want to sell your beautiful car and get ripped off.

Why can't you sell your vette or is it a Chevette? [sm=crossbonesgif.gif]...just kidding

+ 100000 on keeping the bullit. It will hold its value way more then a 97 cobra. And why not put a blower on the bullit and settle for 425hp with no worries?

I got an offer this afternoon for the Vette....... i think she is history. 24k euro is about 30k US. Can you say,"Kenne Belle???"

Or......a 515 hp pushrod with a Chrome Blower sticking out of the hood that my friends is as you say "SEX"
