umm, holy crap almost in a wreck just now
I'm doing maybe 45-50 down a road in traffic all of the sudden a car about 4 cars in front slams on their brakes to turn. I have plenty of distance to slow down (a hard brake but nothing major) Out of nowhere I hear and feel my right front tire LOCK UP. A HUGE cloud of smoke flies past me as I come to a stop. The guy in front of me is freaking out, the whole 10 yards.
I'm a bit scared because there was NO REASON for my brake to lock up especially with ABS. Wow that was really a bit scary. Although in the 0.00000002 seconds I had to think while coming to a stop the thought did pass through my head that if I did enough damage to total my car I could get a cobra lol. Anyways should I take it by a dealer and see wtf is up?

It sure as hell did!!! I dont know what the deal was. They just locked up out of no where and I SLID into the rear of a minivan!!! I took it out on a back road and hit the brakes REALLY hard from about 40 mph and they didnt lock up ad bad after the accident.. just squeeled a little coming to a stop. I wonder if the lowering springs in the front plays a part on the brakes?
