Is it usual for a cel to appear several months after bassani x pipe was installed?
I have an 03 mustang gt and my cel just came on after several months of my Bassani x pipe being installed. They're no mills or 02 extensions installed at all, but I have a diablo predator tuner. The tuner showed it as a o2 sensor rear bank something warning. Will clearing the code solve the problem or should I just turn off the 02s altogether. Does turning them off harm my car at all?

Why does it sometimes take so long for the cel and sometimes not at all after a new midpipe being installed on our gts? What triggers them to go off?
