I have a Bullitt and when i bought it only one key came with it.. is it safe to make another key.. i wasnt sure if it had a built in chip or if ne thing else would mess my car up from making a duplicate..

Yes, it has a chip in it as a part of what they call PATS. With your year you can't reprogram a key by yourself either becuase you'd need two keys. I'm not exactly sure everything about it, but I think you're going to need to talk to the dealership. Search for "ford pats" for more information about it.

You can have a key cut...won't hurt anything....just won't work! It has to be programmed. Go to any decent locksmith, they will save you anywhere from $40-60. Expect to pay about $140 at the stealership. After you have two working keys you can add more and program them yourself.
