Default RE: Question about JLT's RAI filters.

ORIGINAL: TOOT

Once u band clamp every thing down nothing will move plus it will be a extremely tight fit.
Toot, were you able to clamp the reducer onto the MAF so that it made a perfect seal all the way around?? There is almost 1/2 inch gap between the outter edge of the MAF and the inner edge of the reducer for me... and to me, it doesn't seem like the clamp will make a perfect seal around the MAF if I tighten it up. I noticed your year is '02, identical to mine... so if you can instruct me on how to get this thing installed that'd be great. The reducer that doesn't seem to fit is the 4.5" to 4" one... and a look on JLT's site makes me think this is the only one they offer... so how'd you get a nice (sealed) install?

Thanks!
