Something I KNEW Was Bound toEventually Happen, Did
I know how normal tires work when you get a hole, or a small leak. You take it somewhere, as long as it isn't too close to the sidewall they seal it, patch it, plug it etc....
How about if you get a teenie tiny leak in a pair of Mickey Thompson Drag Radials?
Can they fill it or whatever just like normal even if it's a softer compound than your usual street radial?
I noticed today that the right rear tire only registered 5PSI on my guage when I tried it, then I noticed it was only a little low.
So I took the tire off, cleaned it up and found a small niche in it. If i turn the tire slowly enough I can hear something tiny inside of it rolling around, and my dad says that when liquid is placed over the hole, there is a small bubbling action that takes place indicating a smal leak
Anyone with experiance patching/sealing/fixing DRs?

We are currently on a '0' dollar budget for extras as it is right now.

No problem... any tire shop will be able to patch that up for ya! Most likely they would not use a "plug" They would use a patch... or mabey a patch/plug combination, depending on the size of the hole! It makes no diference wether it is a drag radial, or your standard radial! It is still a DOT approved tire! As long as it still has tread on it that is... if not they will try and sell ya a new tire... that being the case I would go get the plug from Auto Zone and plug er'!

As for selling me a new tire, that won't happen unless they can beat the 66 dollar price tag on sumi's from tirerack

I use to work at BJ's Wholesale club's tire bay. We always plugged and patched every whole.
