No joke to that. We had many that were involved in some sort of recall that envolved the head gasket or some hose that ran from the head to the radiator. I did pop two seperate new stangs. Me, and the customers I was with that were test driving the cars did. Both cars limped back to the dealer smoking and overheating. Both 1998 m5 GTs. I saw three more come in for service for the same problem that year. Since then I have been pretty nervous to beat on a GT. When I was going to get my 04, I talked to a bunch of ford mechanics I knew and they said that ford took care of that problem a long time ago. I sure hope so! I am still pretty scared to beat on my new baby, but hey whats the 3yr/36k gurantee for? I figure I better get my moneys worth!
