Default stang flooded :(

Hey, guys..how you doing? Been a while since I post but u know..work and work lol anyways..yesterday we got like 8 inches of rain under an hour over there in south texas. Outside my job, in the parking lot..its floods like no tomorrow. I was able to get my car out in neutral and put it on a safe spot. I was probably underwater for about 30 minutes until i was able to get a buddy of mine to help me with it. There was no water inside the car, i check the engine oil/trany oil..and clean. I waited for like 4 hours.. and i tried to start it up..the engine is dead the electrical system seems to work..lights, stereo and everything..however when i crank it up..i dont hear the starter..just a small whine noise coming from under the vehicle. I move the car to my bro's house and going to leave it there for the rest of the day. Going to take a mechanic to go check it out.. i hope nothing bad happen to it. what could it be? thanks for any advice

i think it got into the engine somehow..it was pretty deep.. about one inch above teh running horse infront ill have to wait for what the mechanic says..but im sure going to replace a couple of parts or something..or probably I got PI. If the engine died or too expensive to fix it..ill better get a new one and just drop it..but ill see whatever he says it got mess up
