yeah, I think I'll keep the pony I got, besides, isnt the frame of the cobra made of iron or something, so it makes it heavy ? The cobra has 90k miles on it, and I have 103k on my car.......I'm still torn though.....my car is an auto and I really want a manual....., besides the guy that has the car would do an even trade with me, because he's trying to get rid of the cobra because he has 3 other cars, he let his uncle drive it because he had so many cars already. He took the car back from his uncle, and now he doesnt want the car, it sits in his garage under a car cover.
Oh, you have an auto.......I don't know then. If he is willing to trade staight across I'd say do it if you really want the Cobra. If not, do the PI head swap like JD said.

I have to agree. The suspension alone makes up for many bucks, plus the engine, tranny and clutch upgrades from the factory. Not all cobras were race cars, as is witnessed by my Mach 1 03. There are some purist Mustang guys out here who are not race idiots.

I'm really confused, I know that if I did get the cobra, I'd have a lot of stuff to do, the exhaust sounds like an gnome whispering in a forest, the K&N intake needs to be oiled, and I have to do some cosmetic upgrades as well.....and for some strange reason theres no SVT symbol on the trunk...I did get my papers together for my GT and I calculated that I have spent over $3000 in repairs. Honestly, if I did get the cobra, could it end up being fast? I raced my car against it, and I when the race was over, he had gone through all 5 gears, and I was still beside him...so I'm curious if there would even be a power gain

would the pi swap be as good in an auto as it is in a manual ? would I see a big power gain ? if it works for an auto, I say screw the cobra.
