Default RE: Who is taking this home?

They got:

Cobra 13.62 @ 105.2
Bullitt 13.59 @ 102.4
Mach 1 13.19 @ 106.7

that is wrong on the bullitt if they are stock. if i am correct the bullitt is a gt with a aluminum intake manifold. 165hp am i right?

JD, not to highjack or change the subject but if you really think that 93-95 cobras have 240 HP you fell for it just like the insurance companies did! How the hell does a 5.0 with gt-40 heads, cobra intake (rated the same as a gt-40), a cobra specific camshaft, and 24lb injectors only come out with 240 HP? Thats only 25 more HP than a GT?? You can smack GT-40 H/I on a stock GT and roast those numbers. According to SVT, they ran around 285hp, I didnt think to ask about TQ numbers. I was also told the tune is very very conservitive. If you beat him by 1.5 seconds, hes a craptastic driver [sm=tongue.gif].

I will run you any day of the week is we have the same mods. He had a lot of work done to his ride and all he could score was a mid 14.

Default RE: Who is taking this home?

i got a question, i didn't see any place on this forum to ask this so why not here. im tryin to get a co-signer right now for my car i got about 8-9k for the down payment and it's about 26-28k. my bank only approved me for a 8k loan or if i get a co-signer i can get a 20k loan. my mom's currently thinking about co-signing but if she decides not to is there ANYTHING i can do? like maybe get a loan with a really high apr and then down the road i could refinance for a lower apr. like don't they have first time buyer programs at dealerships? i dunno i've asked around but maybe someone on here could help me out, thanks.

i dont know.. it pretty much sucks trying to establish credit when you dont have any help doing it. I'd push your mom on the co-signer thing.

Not to knock on the Bullitt too much but last I heard, it is only 5 hp more than the GT... A Mach 1 should rock the Bullitt any day. As far as the 98 cobra goes, show me the hp and torque curves along with the weight and I could make a decision. If all of those were equal (which the clearly would not be). I'd give it to the 98 for aerodynamics.
