Default Painting stock bullitts black?

Just out of curiosity, how do the wheel replica manufacturors paint their bullits black and what kind of paint would you use? I know there is the duplicolor stuff but i know a guy that paints so i could get a good deal on a professional paint job of the wheels. Assuming that this is done well, how long would it hold up in comparison to a new wheel?
