As far as the FI goes, I think you should go with turbo for sure. There is just no end to what they can do and you couldn't ask for a better sound. I've seen a twin turbo cobra run and it was 10 times nastier than my supercharged gt.It was a 04 cobra with stock internals and made 779 hp on pump gas and 814 on C16.

lmao your comparing a tt 4v with a sc 2v ofcourse it will run nastier, no doubt tt's are more efficient but if he's looking for a street legal car tt's are out of the question. If your only looking for the sound you can have the bov on the sc routed out instead of recycled. and just a remind 03/04's have forged internals, true they are stock, but far from what our gt's come with.

Ok, then I'll put it like this. It's way nastier than a 04 cobra with a kenne bell upgrade. Why are twin turbos out of the question for a street legal car? This guy drives his every day. He's had the tt's on there for a year and never had a problem. I've had my bov routed out and it sounds nothing at all like a turbo.

From things I have read, it seems as though the TT will get you more horsepower with less damage to your internals than a SC.

Not necessarily, there is a member that did a TT setup on his GT and made in the area of 400rwhp and blew his motor on one of his first passes. Boost is boost. Horsepower kills engines.8psi out of a TT will kill a motor faster than 8psi out of a s/c. There's no parasitic loss with a TT thus creating more horsepower per # of boost.

Build a TT mustang and go race a viper. The viper owner will wanna go home and kill themself. Even better race him for pink slips(at a track of course).

My twin trboo set up is gonna cost me $5800. My forged shortblock cost me $2000. My stage 2 ported heads cost me $600. My custom turbo cams will cost me $600, My TKO600 will cost $2000 and my rearend will cost $500. Thats $10,900 for the powertrain and drive train. I already have $10,000 in my car in boltons, suspension, and tires. So for a full out street car that will beat anything on the road and still stay together it will cost around $21,000.

you must live in a state that does not require emissions testing... twin turbo's are not a good choice for a street car because many state's require emissions testing and twin turbo's are hard to pass.
