Default NEXT best place to buy gears?

I need a set of Ford Racing 4.10 gears pronto...I had placed an order with 50resto.com Saturday and just now found out they are out of stock. [:@] Customer rep said the computer said they should have them in by March 19th, but he didn't believe it.

Is buyfordracing.com the next best price at $199?

LOL, I literally was just looking at that auction. We must have both been looking at it at the same time.

If you arent in too big a hurry, you can wait and find a set of ford racing gears for around $100. By the way, good choice on the gears, especially if you are going to install them yourself. Alot of people on here say all gears are the same, they are not. I've installed two sets of Ford Racing gears, and they were identical to the gears that came out of the car, I installed some pro 5.0 gears, and the new gear was so deep, that even without a shim it was still deeper than what came out of the car with all the shims. they worked, but they whine a little when you let off the gas.

Ehhh, I'm in a bit of a hurry. The car would be in the shop getting them installed now but my installer was out of stock. He specifically wanted me to get Ford Racing gears...so I guess he likes 'em too

I went ahead and bought the gears from that auction, BTW. Thanks

Yeah, sounds like that guys done a few installs. You can literally just pull the old shim off and put it on the new pinion and its at the correct pinion depth, at least with the two Ford Racing installs I've done.

I got used 3.73 Ford Racing gears and put them in my car for $75, they are perfect. No noise, and a good all around gear
