So my car had been sitting outside for about to days and I decided to take it for a spin. When I started the car there was a loud knock coming from the engine and the exhaust had a popping sound every now and then. I looked at my guage cluster and idle was smooth and there was no CEL. After about a minute the knocking stopped and it sounded fine. I hit the street and it seemed VERY sluggish. I drove it normally for about 20 min. and it didn't get better. I opened the hood and noticed a small shake in the engine. It's not bad but it does it repeatedly. Again no CEL. My car has 60,008.X on it and I'm thinking it might be a bad spark plug. What's going on?

Spark plugs would be the first thing I'd check.

The 4.6's are common to blow a spark plug thru the head and take the threads with it. It just happened to me...

Really? Is that the aftermath of running it hard or does it just happen? I've had my car for a year now and it has never seen beyond 3500 rpm.
