Ok, it's been a long time since I had to shift for a race. Over 10 years. I've had my Stang about a month and want to take it to the local track. I've always just shifted on instinct. But I'm sure there's a science to it. Anybody know that science???

Just before redline..................*SHIFT*. and repeat untill you win

when you start rev it to about 3k and SLIP the clutch outa the hole, practice it a few times on the way to the track.
