well, heres the thing. If the car you want to race is in fact a WRX(AWD, turbo) you had better not do it from a dig, you will get murdered. The WRX is not much slower than an EVO, in fact, both are 2.0L engines.STI is 2.3L. Anyway, all three cars are QUICK and should not be underestimated. As for it being the "Non-turbo WRX". Yes, it would be the Imprezza RS, the 1999 Subaru Imprezza RS look like WRX or STI and feature a 2.5L AWD platform, should not have a problem with that, even from a dig, he may have the lead for a brief moment but as soon as you hook up, you will walk him.

And The WRX is signifigantly slower than an EVO. The Evo has more than 50hp over the WRX in stock trim. You are talking about a low-mid 14sec car compared to a mid 13sec car. Thats quite a bit.

I stand corrected, yes. STI 2.5L 300Hpand EVO is 2.0L 286Hp and WRX is 2.0L at 226Hp. I will stick to my comment that the WRX and EVO are close, look at the course results on TopGear, 1/4 is a different story. Also, the number vary a bit from year to year on those models, but not by much.
The 1999 Subaru Imprezza RS came with a 2.5L at 165Hp
