Default 26" vs 28" Drag Tires...performance difference?

I have the opportunity to buy a slightly used set of 28x11.5 M/T ET Street Drag Tires (not the drag radials) that are mounted on 16" v6 rims. I understand typically everyone here uses 26" tall tires. This deal is almost too good to pass up and I am wondering what is the difference in performance will there be between the 26" and 28" tall tire?

Thanks for the help!

The 28" tall tire will hurt you a little on take off. But, your 4.10's will help out with that. You'll have a little more speed.

I run a 28" because when I use the 100 shot I don't want to shift into 5th. A 28" tire basically turns 4.10s into 3.73s. Now that I think about it I should've just bought 3.73s....well no because I have to have my fun with street tires too
