ok ive never done one of these posts before so sorry in advance. But, im running a guy in 01 cobra convertible with an off road x vs my 00 gt coupe with an off road h and flowmaster cat back. Im by no means good but i can drive pretty good. He is ok too but his car feels like i could take him off the line if i launch right but from a roll he can woop me above 60 or so. He keeps telling me he is gonna run like a 13.5 but i just dont see that after riding in it. What do you guys think? And what can i do as far as weight issues to help myself out? thanks

p.s. gt is a 5 speed

thats what i thought. guess i better hurry with those 4.10s and a s-trim

i think it will be suprisingly close. his vert is heavier and he has irs.launch it well and you should get him off the line.

+1 from a dig. On the roll he has you so don't even try that.

He is not going to run a 13.5 unless he is Jesus behind the wheel. That is like the ideal time for that car. Unless he cand rive extremely well he better chill out on that dream

im hoping to just stay close to him. the best ive ran in my gt is 14.2 on a 85 degree night so hopefully i can stay close
