Default Vert to Coupe swap

Im currently in the process of swapping all major components of my snake into a hardtop body. The coupe isa V6 with no frame damage, but has no front clip or bumper. Ill be selling as much as I can from the coupe to make the swap that much easier on the wallet. I am asking for any FACTUAL concerns I should be aware of for this project. I do NOT want people telling me to do something because a friend of yours did it to his car or what kind of mufflers or headers to get. I'm looking for for hints, tips and tricks to make this an easy swap. Or if you would like to positively or negatively critisize the project, thats fine too. If you have done a swap like this, I am greatly looking forward to reading your replys. Thanks!

awesome dude...all i have to say is 1) keep the convertible rear inner quarter panels for the extra speakers and i'm fairly certain you will have to drill new mounting holes for the brake booster as it goes from vacuum assisted to the hydroboost system, keep us updated and with pics

The chassis is the same, the body frame is the same except for the hood and couple of things. you can easily do that.. but the question isnt whether u can or cannot... its WHY? to get lighter weight ? dude... ur car looks hot.. just keep it the way it is.

Speakers and interior panels, except for door panels, will be left in the car they are currently in. I need a new top for the Vert anyway, its all faded and almost grey.

I knew somebody was going to ask "why?" Its a pure stock cobra; even the gears are stock 3.27's. It rains alot here in the summer and I want a project car. I want to learn about mustangs and cars in general and maybe make a few bucks and pay some bills. I need something to fill up my time.

I WISH!!! That would be sick, but no its actually 2 different cars. The weight is something I didnt even think about till you said something about it, but mostly for the sound and its keeps me busy.
