Default horsepower question

quick question: what's the base horsepower and torque on the 2004 GT?
2nd question: after Steeda cold air, Dragon plenum, Steeda Xpipe exhaust, underdrive pulleys, and 3:73 rears; what are my best options for horsepower increases? not totally opposed to nitrous, and ive got about a $3,000 allowance for myself. past engine mods, ive got the GTrac springs and strut tower bar, and the Tri-Ax short throw. (im from south florida, so Steeda was right up the road, i went a little Steeda crazy...) ive been thinking about a new brake set, or some more suspension/chassis work, but i'd like to do more engine work right now. any info would be great. thanks.

Well base HP is 260 to the crank and around 225 rwhp.

I would either
A) Start looking for a used S/C kit, get that thrown on and probably some drag radials.
2) A 100 shot of nitrous and spend the rest of the money on suspension and some other things like maybe some cams or something.

be orginal, cam it, you cant even ask a question around here without someone sugesting a blower, yes more power cheapest wayblah blah, cam and spray it and run with supercharged mustangs allday, plus i think the oldschool muscle car idle and bad *** exaust note sounds better than a supercharger whine..thats just me tho

you can cam it and 100 shot it, but you still won't run with supercharged mustangs allday, but it's be a start for sure! Maybe some of them, but not all.

It'll hang with the conservative tunes. That's why you throw some suspension mods and only run from digs

I see you're back....what were you up to[8D]

Hey there, not much. Just chillin like a villan. Got the car ready to go for the shows this year. Still waiting to upgrade my fuel pump to the dual pumps. Haven't done that yet. This year I'm not spending anything on the stang though.

Sorry, didn't mean to steal your thread, lol. Just wondered how many peeps missed me!! lol

well, I usally don't stay away, but this time I did. Needed the break for awhile.

Ok to keep this "legit" (you know how I felt about that before, lol) cams would be nice, and maybe some ported heads to go with that.
