prochamber, offroad or not...

prochamber, offroad or not...
im ordering a mac prochamber for a 98 gt. The only drawback about the offroad is i'll need mil illiminators, and i dont really wanna swap um out for emissions. Performance is important, but im buying this pipe for the sound. My question is, is there a difference in sound between the offroad pipe and the one that plugs up to 02 sensors? if so, is it noticable? and im guessing is so that the offroad sounds better? thanks for ur help.

RE: prochamber, offroad or not...
my prochamber has 02 sensors in it... but no cats... there are some videos in my signature. They are kinda quiet at idle anyway, so if I was going to buy one I would def get the off road.

Right now Mac doesn't offer any catalytic converters (supplier problems) so you only have the choice of off-road unless you want to weld something in
We have a special on them right now too. See our other post for details.

RE: prochamber, offroad or not...
thanks everyone. i ended up getting a mac offroad H, to bolt up to my flowmasters. I took them somewhere to get installed, and the only thing im noticing is kind of speratic idle now after i drive it for more than about 20 miles at a time (and only in park or at a complete stop), and an occasional no start. is this cuz of the pipe? the H pipe i baught plugged right up to the 02 sensors, so i dont think it threw any codes. if it did, the shop corrected it. (i have underdrive pulleys too, but the idle problem has gotten worse since the new exhaust. it willbounce from 900 rpm down to almost 500 and jump back to about 650, and is real noticable after a rev. Any takers?

I'd get the offroad and a tuner. Don't get Mil's they never work!
