i had the same gear dilemma.

the deciding factor for me was that there is about a 200 RPM difference between 3.73 and 4.10..........i figured i'm going up anyway so why the fvck not go big?!?

my gas mileage is better because i shift at lower RPM and don't have to stand on the gas to get her going in a hurry.

4.10s ROCK!!!!!!!!!!

wait...your mpg is better than stock?! sorry if i read that wrong. but i was thinking that if u shift it at low rpms, around 1800 or so, u wouldn't lose too much more gas than stock. but you're saying that it is BETTER than stock? that would be pretty sweet lol

IF YOU DO ALOT OF CITY DRIVING AND HAVE A STICK BOX, DONT GET 4:10s. YOUR MPG WILL REALLY SUFFER, NOT TO MENTION ALL THE JUMPING AROUND YOUR CAR WILL DO DEPENDING ON THE WAY YOU DRIVE IN TRAFFIC WITH THAT BIG A GEAR. 3:73 WOULD SUIT U JUST FINE CITY WISE. IF YOU DID ALOT OF HIGHWAY, SEEING AS YOU HAVE THE STICK, I'D SAY 4:10 ALL THE WAY. I PERSONALLY HAVE AN AUTOMATIC, SO THE SHIFTER QUESTION I REALLY DONT KNOW ABOUT. I WOULD SAY THERE IS SOME TYPE OF A MAJOR DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO, JUST LIKE MANUAL AND REVERSE MANUAL VALVE BODIES FOR AUTO TRANNYS

from what mdvaldosta has said in past forums, the 4.10's aren't going to ruin your car or make it a must that you can't drive on the freeway if you drive on the freeway a lot, i say go with the 4.10's. people said it lowers your top speed too but i'm pretty sure it doesn't.
