Question: How did you go from this dirty stock engine to the clean blown engine?? Are they the same one or different? If they are different, which engine/block/internals did you go with?

Answer: It's the same block/heads. I got from then to now with time, effort and a little coin. Check out the solenoid mounted on the drivers side firewall. Same car Bro.

Looks good. Did you have any problems getting everything working together?
Yes. I've had a heck of a time getting this thing tuned right. As you probably already know, KB sends out their "box" tune on the SCT chip. Even with the stock maf, tb and intake KB's tune was a little off. You can imagine what happened to the tune when I threw the 90mm maf, 75mm tb and big tube cai at it. Well, I no longer want to run the SCT chip andI switchingto the SCT hand-held. There is nothing wrong with the chip, but it's way more convenient to just re-flash the computer via the diagnostics port than it is to pull the chip out of the ecu to re-burn it. Not to mention the added benefits of being able to down-load changes in the tune via e-mail into the hand-held and then into the ecu. The car isn't to far off now. I have a few issues that need to be dealt with that my local shops can't handle. I'm going to trailer it down to Lake Isabella, CA to Marcy's Motorsports. Walter, (the owner), and I are going to get together next Sunday to put it on the dyno and hopefully get everything straightened out.

What numbers did you put down?

So far as the clean engine bay.. a rag and some water will go a LONG way, so long as you have an entire weekend availble.
