whats the symtoms of a blown head gasket?? URGENT!!!
ok... well i am suspecting my friend has a blown head gasket in his mustang. its a 2004 GT coupe 5spd with only full bolt ons and 33k miles... it goes through coolant like crazy (close to a quart a day of coolant. and it has a leak on the side of the block, we cant pin point where such as a plug or the gasket.. but its not the intake... the car has 175 compression in all cylinders except for number 2 which is 150psi... this is very akward for a 2004 with such low miles andno F.I. at all... what do you all think about this?? also when the car is running you smell coolant... the water hose feels squishy and seems like very little colant is staying in the system. the car bogs some and does not pull as hard as it use to...

yeah check for white electrodes on the spark plugs and I wouldn't drive it much anymore cause it won't last long if there's getting coolant in the combustion chamber or engine oil.
