GT vs Z28
I was looking at how much each car weighed and it said that a 2001 mustang gt weighs about 3417 pounds. And that 1993-2002 z28 weighd 3,306. Is this rite.?? I thought the only reason 1999-04 gts could be the same as lt1s is that the gts weighd a little less.???

im just going to go ahead and tell you.. a stock 99-04 gt vs lt1 is a good race and stock gt vs ls1 death to the gt... ive got a 04 gt my buddy has a 01 ws.6 and hes not that good of a driver... and he raped me soon as he hit 3rd...

I just thought that gts weighed less since theyare a drivers race with anlt1. Dont they dyno at like 250rwhp stock. thats like 25rwhp more than a gt and they weiugh 100lbs lighter to.

The lt1 has 25 more hp and weights 100 pounds less, that is a drivers race. 25 hp and 100 pound weight difference would put the lt1 running about a tenth faster than the gt. If this is right it would be up to the reaction time to decide who would win.
